ASICS Apps is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to build an enterprise data platform from the ground up, focusing on actionable storytelling and data modeling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience focused on business outcomes
• Experience managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure costs
• Establish engineering standards around FinOps and data quality
• Understanding of ELT architectures with Snowflake
• Advanced SQL fluency
• Experience with Snowflake core concepts
• Experience orchestrating data pipelines
• Understanding of BI tools and data models
• Experience handling PII responsibly
• Experience ingesting data from relational databases
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience preparing data pipelines for machine learning workflows
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation
• Ability to thrive in evolving requirements

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Data Architect to build greenfield data architecture and models
• Design compute and storage architectures in Snowflake with financial discipline
• Build ELT ingestion pipelines using Python frameworks
• Create transformation flow as Snowflake Dynamic Tables
• Set up Snowflake implementing modern features
• Build foundational pipelines for AI initiatives
• Leverage Python notebooks for rapid prototyping
• Integrate AI coding assistants into daily workflow
