Data Platform Engineer - Snowflake

Job summary

Design, build, and improve a cloud-based data platform, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in platform engineering or data engineering
• Strong expertise in the modern data stack with focus on Snowflake
• Proficiency with IaC, automation tooling, and orchestration tooling
• Very good programming skills in Python and/or Java
• Experience with SDLC tools including Git, JIRA, Artifactory, and Github
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the architecture and design of cloud data platform components
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements
• Design and develop reusable components for data ingestion, transformation, and distribution
• Build and maintain infrastructure components using Terraform and automation tools
• Collaborate with architects, security engineers, and other stakeholders
• Translate product vision and demand into actual implementations
