Job summary
The Data Platform Engineer role is centered on developing and maintaining an enterprise data platform that transforms raw data into actionable insights. Responsibilities include designing and automating data pipelines, optimizing data infrastructure for scalability, and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve data challenges, utilizing technologies such as SQL, Python, and Snowflake.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of professional information systems, data engineering, analytics, or related experience.
- 2+ years of advanced SQL programming, data modeling, and ETL/ELT development experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, automate, and maintain data pipelines, data models, and performance metrics.
- Develop analytical tools and curated datasets that provide actionable business insights.
- Optimize and improve data infrastructure for scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
- Monitor and enhance data quality through technical controls and performance metrics.
