Job summary

As a Data Platform Engineer at Ordix AG, you will be responsible for consulting, operating, and analyzing a Big Data platform, ensuring its stability and security. You will also integrate new solutions, automate tasks, and share your knowledge with colleagues and students.

Qualifications

• Fach-) Hochschulabschluss der Informatik or comparable qualification
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience
• Experience with modern data platforms and data engineering technologies
• Solid knowledge of container platforms
• Experience with Ansible/Git
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala are beneficial
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
• Good English language skills

Responsibilities

• Consulting, operating, and analyzing a Big Data platform
• Administering and configuring complex solutions
• Designing innovative solutions based on modern Big Data systems
• Integrating new Big Data solutions into existing systems
• Ensuring security and stability of the Big Data platform
• Evaluating new tools and frameworks
• Automating recurring tasks using Infrastructure as Code
• Planning and executing complex projects across Germany
• Sharing knowledge with colleagues and students
