The Data Reliability Engineer role focuses on building, operating, and securing the data platform that manages healthcare data for various users. Key responsibilities include developing automated data pipelines, ensuring data quality through monitoring tools like Grafana, and collaborating with product squads on data design using technologies such as Python, PostgreSQL, and Terraform.

• Ship production-grade Python
• Build and operate data pipelines and orchestration
• Push dbt well beyond basic usage
• Read and contribute to TypeScript codebases

Responsibilities

• Build and operate data pipelines: ingestion from application events & databases, transformation, export
• Build the tooling that handles those pipelines
• Watch over data quality and pipeline health
• Own data contracts and data quality
• Deliver secure data exports to external partners and institutions
• Provision and maintain dedicated PostgreSQL Research Spaces
• Help the modelers scale their work
• Work directly with the requesters
• Participate in code reviews, technical design and continuous improvement
