Cloud Engineer – Mid-Level

Job summary

Designs, implements, and maintains secure Azure and/or AWS infrastructure for application workloads while supporting cloud operations in a DevOps environment. The role also administers Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Intune, and MDM services in a hybrid Microsoft Exchange and Google Workspace environment, using Infrastructure as Code and automation to improve deployment, security, and operational reliability.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience deploying and configuring application workloads in Microsoft Azure Commercial Cloud and/or AWS.
• At least seven years of hands-on experience in technology, with a demonstrated understanding of compute, networking, storage, and infrastructure administration.
• Experience supporting Apple Business Manager integration with Microsoft Intune or equivalent MDM solutions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, networking, infrastructure automation, and operational best practices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, container orchestration, and container security hardening.
• Strong customer service, communication, workload management, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain cloud environments to support application workloads, infrastructure services, and agency requirements.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, resolve incident tickets, and maintain reliable, secure cloud operations.
• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
• Automate cloud provisioning, configuration management, deployment, and operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, Bash, and shell scripting.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Outlook, OneDrive for Business, and related collaboration services.
• Configure and maintain Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager integrations, device enrollment, compliance policies, application deployment, and mobile device management capabilities.
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls, IAM policies, resource policies, configuration standards, and compliance requirements.
• Manage daily cloud operations, incident tickets, service requests, and operational deliverables.
