• At least 3 years of professional experience with a focus on data-driven technologies
• Extensive experience in distributed systems and cloud architecture, especially with AWS
• Strong knowledge of distributed database systems, SQL, data pipeline management, and data governance
• Proficiency in Python programming and solid understanding of software engineering principles
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Business-fluent English skills; German language skills are desirable

Responsibilities

• design and maintain scalable and reliable distributed systems based on AWS services
• work with distributed database systems and SQL using frameworks such as MapReduce and Spark
• develop clean and maintainable Python code while consistently applying testing best practices
• implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform
• collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve data governance and pipeline management
• maintain and adapt knowledge graphs and ontologies for data-driven use cases
• contribute to the continuous advancement of our cloud-based data platform
