Dev Ops Engineer

Job summary

Experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong Data Engineering mindset focused on data archiving, automation, and modern data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Python or PowerShell across Windows and Linux
• Experience with at least one object-oriented language such as C#, JavaScript or .NET
• Experience with UI development, ideally React
• Experience building and optimising data pipelines and working with large datasets
• Strong analytical skills across structured and unstructured data
• Experience designing data transformation, metadata and workload management processes
• Good understanding of data engineering and ETL concepts
• Excellent communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated ETL and data pipelines
• Design solutions for structured and unstructured data
• Develop searchable archives for regulatory and compliance requirements
• Create frameworks for ingesting decommissioned application data
• Develop secure interfaces for searching archived data
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes
• Code, test, document and maintain production-ready solutions
• Work with cross-functional teams and communicate progress, risks and technical decisions
• Deliver solutions to demanding timelines and support customer handover
