Job summary

The DevOps Intern role focuses on implementing and testing code changes to enhance software products while troubleshooting and resolving defects. Key responsibilities include developing requirements, installing and configuring hardware and software, and automating deployment of solutions using technologies such as Java, Groovy/Gradle, Jenkins, Angular, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Qualifications

• At least one prior internship in a similar or related role
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Must be an active student during the internship
• Bilingual for Quebec roles (English and French)

Responsibilities

• Implements and tests code changes to fix defects and enhance software products
• Troubleshoots and resolves low to moderate defects
• Assists in developing requirements and provides design recommendations
• Participates in the discovery phase of projects to create high-level designs
• Installs and configures hardware, software, and cloud services
• Supports in solving software/system monitoring issues
• Assists in automating deployment of solutions as code
