Development Operations Engineer

Job summary

The DevOps Engineer role focuses on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure while ensuring operational excellence. Key responsibilities include automating software processes, managing AWS cloud infrastructure, and developing Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable multi-tenant SaaS applications.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and supporting applications in AWS
• Experience building, testing, deploying, and operating distributed applications in a public cloud environment
• Strong software engineering, automation, scripting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog
• Understanding of cloud-native security best practices
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams
• Experience supporting or leading cloud operations and SaaS environments
• Knowledge of microservices architectures, infrastructure as code, and cloud operations

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications
• Automate software build, test, deployment, and operational processes
• Collaborate with development and product teams to improve delivery efficiency
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Monitor system health, performance, and reliability using observability tools
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident response and on-call support
• Improve application scalability, security, and resilience
• Standardize DevOps processes and promote automation best practices
• Document solutions, procedures, and operational standards
