Job summary

Wolters Kluwer is seeking a DevOps Developer Intern to participate in the development of internal applications and automation scripts, maintaining the application lifecycle management ecosystem while collaborating with IT administrators.

• Practical experience in programming (e.g., C#) and scripting languages (PowerShell, BAT, Python, Ruby, etc.)
• Experience in managing and automating operational stack (Git, MSBuild, Jenkins, NuGet, Confluence, Jira/TFS, etc.)
• Experience in developing build scripts and integrations via third-party application APIs
• Understanding of managing multiple Git repositories for concurrent agile feature development
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, SaltStack)
• Experience in managing and configuring web and application servers (Tomcat, IIS, Apache, Nginx)
• Experience in configuring, virtualizing, and supporting Windows and Linux systems
• Experience in evolving DevOps practices in a software development company
• Understanding of IT operational best practices (monitoring, backups, infrastructure)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to support build scripts and enhance continuous integration
• Application programming and script development
• Manage multiple source code repositories
• Guide and support tools and practices
• Develop back-office solutions to ensure service continuity
• Identify optimization opportunities for code, scripts, infrastructure, tools, and practices
• Collaborate with IT administrators to manage Windows and Linux environments
• Install, configure, maintain, and support internal applications
• Automate configuration management
• Advance strategic common projects
• Evolve DevOps practices within the company
• Provide training and guidance on tools and new concepts
