DevOps / Backend Engineer @SPARQ

Job summary

Seeking a DevOps / Backend Engineer to build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure, backend services, and AI-enabled systems. This role combines backend development in Node.js, cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, Kubernetes operations, and work with agentic AI workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Node.js backend development
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and production deployments
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized applications
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Good understanding of networking, security, IAM, secrets management, and cloud best practices
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB
• Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, fault tolerance, and production operations

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
• Develop APIs, microservices, background workers, and integrations with internal and external systems
• Deploy, operate, and monitor applications running on Kubernetes
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments
• Improve system reliability, observability, logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident response
• Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
