DevOps Build Engineer

Job summary

The DevOps Build Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining build pipelines across multiple platforms while enhancing automated build and CI systems. This role involves collaborating with IT to manage build server infrastructure, documenting the build/release process, and assisting during patch releases, utilizing tools such as Jenkins, Ruby, and Git.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in a scripting language such as Ruby, Groovy, or Python
• Experience automating workflows via shell/bash/cmd on Linux and/or Windows
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git, Perforce, or SVN

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust build pipelines for each platform
• Monitor and continuously improve automated build and CI systems
• Partner with IT to scale and maintain build server infrastructure
• Create and keep documentation of the build/release process up to date
• Support the release manager during patch releases
• Be a go-to resource for teammates
