DevOps / CI/CD Engineer – Snowflake Platform

Job summary

The DevOps / CI/CD Engineer builds and operates automation for a secure, reliable Snowflake data platform in a large, regulated enterprise environment. The role develops CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows, automates Snowflake and dbt deployments and infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, and improves testing, release controls, monitoring, and observability. The platform work includes AWS, Snowpark/Python, and data-platform modernisation.

Qualifications

• DevOps and CI/CD engineering experience with Snowflake and data platforms.
• Banking or financial-services experience in large, regulated enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong dbt experience, including deployment automation.
• Experience with Snowpark and Python.
• Strong Git, source-control, and infrastructure or configuration automation skills.
• Experience automating environment deployment, promotion, testing, and releases.
• Experience implementing platform monitoring and observability.
• Teradata or legacy data-platform modernisation experience.
• Relevant Snowflake certifications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake and data platforms, including automated Snowflake and dbt deployments.
• Establish Git workflows and source-control practices for reliable, collaborative delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Automate environment deployment and promotion across development, testing, and production.
• Integrate automated testing, release controls, and operational automation into delivery pipelines.
• Implement platform monitoring and observability to support reliability, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
