Job summary
The DevOps / Cloud Engineer supports cloud-based data platforms and automation initiatives, primarily in AWS environments. The role designs and maintains Terraform infrastructure as code, supports Kubernetes-based container workloads and CI/CD deployments, troubleshoots infrastructure issues, and collaborates with data engineering and application teams. Java development is also required, with a possible transition to OpenTofu as the platform evolves.

Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, software engineering, or a related technical discipline
- At least 3 years of hands-on Terraform experience, including infrastructure as code, provisioning, and deployment automation
- At least 3 years of hands-on Kubernetes experience supporting containerized applications or cloud platforms
- At least 3 years of Java programming experience, including developing, modifying, and troubleshooting code
- AWS and cloud-based data engineering experience, including knowledge of AWS security practices
- OpenTofu experience or ability to transition from Terraform
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
