The DevOps Engineer role involves designing, deploying, and optimizing secure and scalable infrastructures on AWS and on-premise platforms. Qualifications

• Mastery of Linux environments
• Knowledge of Unix systems like Aix or HP-UX is a plus
• Expertise in containerization with Docker/Podman
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Nomad is a plus
• Knowledge of at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Scripting skills in at least one language (Python, Shell, PERL)
• Understanding of JAVA is a plus
• Knowledge of source code management tools: GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools: Terraform, Pulumi
• Knowledge of configuration management tools: Puppet, Chef, Ansible
• Awareness of DevOps culture

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimize secure and scalable infrastructures on AWS and on-premise
• Automate deployment, testing, and production processes using CI/CD tools
• Utilize configuration management tools to maintain and deploy system configurations
• Implement monitoring systems for applications and infrastructures, responding to issues
• Analyze system performance and implement improvements for optimal user experience
• Quickly respond to incidents, resolve them, and implement corrective measures
• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to facilitate communication
• Document processes, systems, and procedures for better understanding and maintenance
• Provide training and support to development and operations teams on DevOps tools and processes
