Job summary

The DevOps Engineer coordinates the implementation of IT architecture and the provisioning and configuration of accounts, servers, and system resources in cloud or Docker-virtualized environments. The role includes planning platform installation, deploying applications with XL Deploy and XL Release, and maintaining infrastructure availability, performance, and security. It also covers CI/CD automation, scripting, monitoring, and incident resolution, with a focus on operational reliability and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud environments, preferably private or public cloud platforms
• Docker containerization skills, including container creation and volume and network management
• Ability to provision, configure, and optimize servers, user accounts, and system resources
• Experience with XL Deploy and XL Release for application deployment automation, orchestration, and tracking
• Knowledge of access and identity management, network security, and secrets management
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible or Terraform
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting
• Ability to set up and monitor infrastructure and application health using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
• Ability to collaborate with a Tech Lead to translate architecture into implementation
• Ability to plan and prioritize complex installation steps
• Understanding of change management and data governance for non-technical users of no-code and low-code platforms

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate installation of the new platform
• Deploy applications using XL Deploy and XL Release in accordance with administrative requirements and deployment guidelines
• Maintain infrastructure to ensure high availability and environment performance
• Apply platform security requirements and internal policies
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and operational tasks through scripting
• Monitor systems and resolve incidents
