DevOps Consultant Kubernetes (m/w/d)

Job summary

Design and implement modern Kubernetes and GitOps solutions, guiding clients through the project lifecycle while providing strategic advice on architecture and tool selection.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree (e.g., in Computer Science) and at least 3 years of relevant experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes, including security best practices, scripting (Bash, Python), and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Jaeger).
• Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code, Configuration Management (Helm, Kustomize), and CI/CD and GitOps tools (e.g., Argo CD, Flux CD, Tekton).
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive DevOps mindset with team spirit and openness to technological innovations.
• Practical experience with enterprise platforms (OpenShift, Rancher, Tanzu), K8s networking/storage (Calico, Cilium, Ceph), service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), and virtualization (KubeVirt, KVM) is desirable.
• Knowledge of Go (writing K8s operators) and initial exposure to MLOps/AIOps, Open Data Hub, and AI productivity tools like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT is a plus.
