Job summary
This Data Platform Engineer role combines data engineering and DevOps across cloud infrastructure, with AWS preferred and Azure and GCP also used. The work includes building infrastructure as code, maintaining CI/CD and data pipelines, developing ETL processes, and managing data security, lifecycle, integration, and performance. The role uses tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, Jenkins, Airflow, Spark, and Kafka.

Qualifications
- Consolidated experience in data platforms and DevOps.
- Experience with Airflow, Spark, Kafka, cloud platforms, Terraform, CI/CD, Jenkins, and pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS CDK.
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, and Azure Artifacts.
- Deploy and administer data infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Implement policies and procedures to protect data integrity and security.
- Develop ETL processes for data transformation and loading.
- Manage data from creation through archiving or deletion.
- Optimize databases for performance and scalability.
- Integrate data from multiple sources.
- Monitor and tune data pipelines and flows for performance and reliability.
