DevOps Delivery Lead

Job summary

Leads DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering projects, combining hands-on engineering expertise with technical project and people management to improve delivery and operational reliability. Oversees CI/CD automation, code quality, infrastructure modernization, and observability, including metrics, logging, tracing, and SLO/SLI tracking. Manages engineering teams and coordinates technical execution with client and executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on software, DevOps, or SRE engineering experience.
• Leadership experience in technical program management or engineering management.
• Experience designing, setting up, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of coding standards, code quality, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Familiarity with observability tools and practices, including metrics, telemetry, logging, and tracing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for leading technical teams and engaging business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, create structure amid ambiguity, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage DevOps and SRE engineers, including performance, career development, and resource allocation.
• Oversee CI/CD pipeline architecture, deployment automation, and infrastructure modernization.
• Establish observability, monitoring, and metrics solutions to support availability and rapid incident response.
• Serve as the technical liaison between client leadership, executive sponsors, and delivery teams.
• Translate engineering concepts into business outcomes and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Identify delivery risks, architectural bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
