Job summary
The Platform Engineer designs, builds, and maintains infrastructure for application workloads, applying DevOps and SRE practices to improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and performance. The role also advances agentic AI adoption by automating operational workflows and establishing safe team practices, while managing Terraform infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments across AWS and GCP, monitoring, and incident response.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience implementing platform and DevOps solutions.
- At least 3 years of experience in a high-performing DevOps team or related role.
- At least 3 years of enterprise experience in performance monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting.
- Experience integrating AI tools into development workflows, including Claude and GitHub tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Actions.
- Strong experience delivering Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Colima, or Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
- Experience supporting pipeline tools such as GitHub and CircleCI.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards, including secure coding and vulnerability scanning.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure as code and applications.
- Implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD pipelines across projects, with automated security.
- Build agentic AI automations to reduce downtime and manual work.
- Design and support resilient, scalable infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and other cloud platforms.
- Configure application monitoring and develop custom monitoring solutions, including AI-assisted alert triage and incident response.
- Create and manage consistent development, staging, and production environments.
- Maintain documentation of DevOps processes, infrastructure, and team guidelines for using AI.
- Plan long-term infrastructure scaling, capacity, and costs for hardware, software, and storage.
- Apply security guidelines, guardrails, and access controls to platform designs and AI agents.
- Manage GitHub repositories, branching strategies, and version control.
