DevOps Developer

Job summary

CaseWare is seeking a DevOps Developer to enhance their internal platform for scalable delivery across a large Nx monorepo. The role involves designing CI/CD pipelines, optimizing performance, and improving platform security while collaborating with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or software engineering roles
• Strong TypeScript proficiency for tooling and automation
• Production experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code
• Experience designing and operating GitHub Actions pipelines
• Understanding of build systems and monorepo-scale engineering
• Experience with secure CI/CD practices and release controls
• Linux and Docker debugging skills in cloud-native environments
• Nx monorepo expertise and caching strategy
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience and Helm management
• Experience with GitOps delivery models
• Familiarity with mixed-stack monorepos
• Experience with observability platforms and incident response

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve GitHub Actions pipelines for workflows
• Optimize pipeline performance and reliability
• Build and maintain reusable CI/CD building blocks
• Improve release safety with validation gates and automation
• Drive Nx monorepo scalability and developer productivity
• Build internal devkit tooling to standardize platform patterns
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK and GitOps
• Support Kubernetes-based workloads and deployment architecture
• Partner with engineering teams on service hardening
• Improve platform security posture through automation
• Raise service reliability through monitoring and alerting
• Improve operability with actionable logs and metrics
• Reduce cognitive load for feature teams
• Coach teams on delivery standards and best practices
