Job summary

citema systems GmbH is seeking a DevOps & Developer Infrastructure professional to join their agile development team in Munich (hybrid). The role involves contributing to the entire software development lifecycle, including CI/CD and quality metrics for secure communications products, and developing code and scripts for release automation. The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science or a related field, several years of experience in software development and DevOps, and strong knowledge of Linux systems.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or a comparable field of study
• Several years of experience in software development and DevOps
• Interest in contributing to state-of-the-art software solutions
• Good knowledge of Linux systems
• Strong interest in new technologies
• Ability to quickly grasp complex topics and explain them clearly
• Enjoy teamwork and willingness to actively contribute knowledge
• Knowledge of Python, CI/CD (Git/GitLab), Docker, CMake, Unix/Linux, Grafana, databases, Rust
• Very good spoken and written German for effective communication in project environments and with German-speaking customers

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in an agile development team
• Support the complete software development lifecycle, including CI/CD and quality metrics for secure communications products with a focus on tactical radio communication
• Develop code and scripts to automate the release creation process
• Take responsibility for work packages agreed upon in the Scrum team, considering deadlines and costs
• Coordinate with other development teams and provide support regarding CI/CD
• Conduct code reviews to promote knowledge exchange and continuous improvement within the team
• Monitor current technology trends and proactively introduce new ideas into solution development
