DevOps Developer (Platform Engineering)

Job summary

The DevOps Developer builds and supports cloud platforms and infrastructure that enable secure, reliable, and efficient enterprise software delivery. The role includes developing CI/CD pipelines, automating AWS infrastructure with tools such as AWS CDK and CloudFormation, supporting Docker workloads on ECS and EKS, and improving observability, security, and developer self-service. The developer also contributes to incident response, disaster recovery, platform modernization, and Agile delivery in collaboration with technical teams.

• At least three years of relevant technical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting AWS-based solutions.
• Experience developing Infrastructure as Code solutions and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience developing automation with TypeScript, Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with Git-based source control and modern software development practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting production environments and resolving complex operational issues.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Preferred experience with shared platform services, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, CI/CD platforms, Docker, ECS, EKS, server environments, observability, incident management, disaster recovery, and Agile SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Provision and automate AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Deploy and support AWS services and containerized applications.
• Develop automation, tooling, and operational workflows.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, tracing, and observability solutions.
• Build reusable platform capabilities, automation frameworks, and self-service solutions.
• Implement security, governance, and compliance controls.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and problem management.
• Contribute to disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and resiliency planning.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, architecture diagrams, and platform standards.
• Participate in Agile planning, estimation, technical design, and continuous improvement.
