Job summary

Build and operate a stable, scalable, and secure AWS cloud platform that provides development teams with reliable self-service capabilities. The role includes managing production Kubernetes clusters on EKS, automating infrastructure and deployments, expanding observability with Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, and CloudWatch, and improving platform security, performance, and developer experience. Participate in on-call support and document platform work clearly.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Familiarity with AWS EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, S3, and Lambda.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code.
• Openness to working with multicloud environments.
• Commitment to self-service, developer experience, and engineering quality.
• Ability to automate processes and maintain stable systems.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to share knowledge.
• Willingness to take responsibility, including on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters for a reliable self-service developer platform.
• Manage platform infrastructure, observability, and security.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments.
• Build and expand observability stacks using Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, and CloudWatch.
• Work with the Developer Experience team to improve the developer journey and create golden paths.
• Improve platform performance, security, scalability, and developer experience.
• Document work clearly and transparently.
• Participate in on-call support and maintain platform reliability outside regular working hours.
