Job summary

The role focuses on building and maintaining a secure and reliable platform for AI models, covering both data center and edge deployments. Key responsibilities include automating cloud and on-premises infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, creating CI/CD pipelines, ensuring observability through logging and metrics, and implementing security measures for platform services.

Qualifications

• Several years of practical experience in platform or DevOps roles
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, and automation
• Experience with observability stacks, logging, monitoring, and incident management
• Knowledge in containerization and orchestration
• Strong security awareness
• Teamwork, communication skills, independence, and accountability
• Analytical thinking, diligence, and solution orientation
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Operate and automate cloud and on-premises infrastructure
• Implement Infrastructure as Code
• Build CI/CD pipelines for applications and services
• Integrate deployment workflows with GitOps
• Ensure observability through logging, metrics, and alerts
• Manage capacity planning and incident response for AI platforms
• Implement security concepts, access management, and secret handling
• Collaborate with MLOps and AI teams
• Provide robust runtimes for model serving and data services
• Harden platform components for hybrid, edge, and air-gapped scenarios
