Job summary
The Senior DevOps Engineer designs and operates Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines that securely deliver software and machine learning solutions across multiple environments. The role automates builds, deployments, and infrastructure; manages Docker and Kubernetes workflows; and supports AI/ML systems, including in air-gapped, hybrid, and on-premises environments. It also integrates DevSecOps and observability practices and leads technical initiatives.

Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance, eligibility for SCI access, and ability to obtain a CI polygraph.
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience developing and supporting custom in-house applications using modern languages and frameworks.
- Expertise in AI, generative AI, and orchestration across models and modalities, including reasoning, perception, memory, and tool execution.
- Experience implementing temporal, spatial, geographic, quantitative, and computer vision AI capabilities.
- Experience designing ETL pipelines for complex parsing, scheduling, and schema-aligned ingestion and normalization of structured and unstructured data.
- Experience supporting air-gapped, hybrid, and on-premises environments, including local GPU servers, hyperconverged nodes, and multitenant Cross Domain Solutions.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed systems management.
- Experience developing interfaces, backend services, and middleware with technologies such as TypeScript, React, Python, FastAPI, LanceDB, Lance Graph, PostgreSQL, and Temporal.io.
- Experience integrating reasoning components, retrieval systems, databases, and AI services into enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and optimize Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop containerized deployment workflows with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automate software builds, testing, and deployments across environments.
- Write automation scripts using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Implement cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.
- Integrate security controls and DevSecOps practices into delivery pipelines.
- Support machine learning workflows, MLOps platforms, and AI/ML infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot software, infrastructure, and deployment issues.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability capabilities.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams in an Agile environment.
- Maintain Git-based source control workflows.
- Lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and document infrastructure and operational procedures.
