Job summary
Auria is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the C2BMC program. This role is onsite in Colorado Springs, CO, focusing on designing, implementing, and managing a complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining automated deployment scripts and collaborating on CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field with 8 years of experience
- Master’s degree in a related field with 6 years of relevant work experience
- 12 years of relevant work experience as an alternative to a degree
- Current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND)
- Ability to maintain DoD 8140 certification throughout the contract period
- Current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Red Hat OpenStack, or Nutanix
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server system administration
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience implementing configuration management methodologies using Ansible
- Prior experience with Nutanix Hyperconverged on-prem cloud platform
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
- Experience working on a Scrum team in an Agile environment
- Scrum Master experience and certification are a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform
- Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using tools like Ansible or Terraform
- Collaborate with development teams to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for process and automation enhancements
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Bash, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell
- Test and validate automation solutions to meet requirements and ensure defect-free operation
- Track the impact of events and actions on underlying infrastructure, including patching and maintenance
