DevOps Engineer - Azure Specialist

Burendo is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer - Azure Specialist to join their team. This role involves helping clients optimize their Azure environments and working on engaging client projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Azure expertise and a passion for craft, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity services
• Experience introducing and embedding DevOps practices within teams
• Strong working knowledge of Azure services such as App Services, Azure SQL, AKS, and Azure Storage
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance, including Azure AD, IAM, and security policies
• Experience monitoring and optimizing cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Cost Management
• Experience supporting application migrations or modernization initiatives, including on-premises to Azure
• Good understanding of and experience working with agile methodologies
• Experience working in and supporting live production environments
• Understanding of and working experience with source control, particularly Git
• Experience with database technologies
