DevOps Engineer

Job summary

The DevOps Engineer is tasked with building, automating, and scaling the cloud infrastructure for the SiteDocs platform, ensuring reliable and secure software delivery. Key responsibilities include designing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub and Azure DevOps, managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Terraform, and providing operational support for the APAC region while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar engineering role
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services
• Infrastructure as code, with Terraform preferred
• Hands-on experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines and automation processes (GitHub, Azure DevOps)
• Working knowledge of Git and version control workflows
• Good understanding of system and solution architecture, including how to design for scale and resilience
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise production systems

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and maintains CI/CD pipelines and release automation using GitHub and Azure DevOps
• Builds and manages cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, provisioning and maintaining environments through infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• Monitors system performance, availability, capacity, and security, and acts on alerts before they affect customers
• Troubleshoots and resolves production issues, performs root cause analysis, and implements changes that improve platform reliability
• Provides operational and on-call coverage for the platform in the APAC time zone
• Automates manual and repetitive infrastructure and deployment tasks to reduce operational risk and release friction
• Collaborates with software engineering, QA, and security colleagues across time zones to design systems that scale and operate securely
• Documents infrastructure, runbooks, and operational procedures so operational knowledge is shared across regions
