Job summary
DevOps Engineers build secure, resilient integration pipelines and runtime platforms that connect microservices, APIs, and legacy systems in support of national intelligence capabilities. The work includes developing CI/CD processes, managing API and middleware components, deploying software on Kubernetes, troubleshooting integrations, addressing security risks, and creating automated integration and end-to-end tests.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
- Experience managing Kubernetes deployments with kubectl, Helm, Kustomize, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and engineering processes and standards.
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with FluxCD, ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
- Ability to design automated software tests.
- Knowledge of large language models and their underlying concepts.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Australian citizenship.
- Ability to obtain an Australian Government Positive Vetting security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and automate pipelines connecting microservices, APIs, and legacy systems.
- Develop and automate CI/CD processes for integrated systems.
- Implement and maintain API management, service mesh, message broker, and middleware components.
- Monitor and improve integration behavior, performance, and reliability.
- Analyze, mitigate, and document security risks and vulnerabilities in integrations and DevOps processes.
- Deploy software on Kubernetes and maintain stable containerized integrations.
- Troubleshoot integration and deployment issues to prevent downtime.
- Implement technologies, frameworks, and integration patterns in a DevOps environment.
- Develop and maintain automated integration and end-to-end tests.
