DevOps Engineer

Job summary

The DevOps Engineer designs, builds, and enhances cloud and automation platforms that support product and service delivery, partnering with development teams to provide secure, scalable, and resilient capabilities. The role administers Jenkins, GitLab, JFrog, and Chef; automates CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and deployments; and supports global-scale systems using containers, microservices, and distributed architectures.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of experience with DevOps toolsets.
• Experience administering Jenkins, GitLab, JFrog, and Chef.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS; Azure or GCP experience is an asset.
• Experience with Terraform, Jenkins, Chef, Docker, and JFrog; Kubernetes proficiency is beneficial.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, configuration management, and monitoring practices.
• Proficiency in Python, GoLang, or Shell scripting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Cloud or DevOps certifications are preferred.
• Familiarity with advanced networking, master/slave architectures, and modern design patterns is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve the DevOps platform supporting product and service delivery.
• Administer Jenkins, GitLab, JFrog, and Chef, including user management, backups, and upgrades.
• Gather requirements from development teams and implement secure, scalable solutions.
• Develop automation frameworks and scripts for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and deployments.
• Promote best practices in software delivery, configuration management, release processes, and observability.
• Support global-scale systems using modern networking, distributed architectures, containers, and microservices.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on security compliance and continuous improvement.
