Job summary
This role designs, deploys, and manages AWS infrastructure and helps deliver and support applications in live production environments. Responsibilities include writing infrastructure as code with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK; maintaining CI/CD pipelines; monitoring and optimising cloud environments; and supporting application migrations and modernisation, including on-premises-to-AWS transitions. The work also includes cloud security, governance, and compliance.

Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, VPC networking, S3, EBS, and IAM
- Working knowledge of ECS or EKS, Lambda, RDS, and S3
- Experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance
- Experience monitoring and optimising cloud environments
- Experience supporting application migrations or modernisation
- Experience with agile methodologies and live production environments
- Experience with Git and database technologies
- Passion for engineering and continuous learning
- Clear communication, openness, and respect
- DevOps mindset and willingness to support delivery through to the customer
- Ability to collaborate through pairing or mobbing
- Curious and discerning approach to new technologies, including AI
Responsibilities

- Work with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
- Monitor and optimise cloud environments
- Support application migrations and modernisation, including on-premises-to-AWS migration
- Support live production environments
- Contribute to cloud security, governance, and compliance
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions using AWS-native services
