Job summary
Seeking a DevOps Engineer - Certificate Services in Berlin to automate critical IT workflows and manage the lifecycle of certification authorities and smartcards.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or comparable technical qualification
- Strong knowledge in PKI, certificates, and hardware security modules
- Proficient in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server, and Kubernetes
- Experience in scripting and programming languages (Bash, Python, Java, Go)
- Knowledge in designing and operating CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with high-availability LDAP systems and PKI system administration
- Strong problem-solving skills and structured working style
- Independent communication skills in German and English, minimum B2 level
Responsibilities
- Automate critical IT workflows and operational processes
- Design, build, and operate highly available CA systems
- Manage the lifecycle of CAs, certificates, and smartcards
- Ensure secure administration and stable operation of complex infrastructures
- Identify and implement automation potentials
- Provide technological consulting
- Implement CI/CD pipelines
- Handle 2nd-level support requests
- Maintain technical documentation
