Job summary
Seeking a DevOps Engineer - Certificate Services in Berlin to automate IT workflows, manage certification authorities, and implement CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, IT specialist training, or comparable technical qualification
- Strong knowledge in PKI, certificates, certificate-based applications, and HSM
- Proficient in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server, and Kubernetes environments
- Several years of experience in scripting and programming languages (Bash, Python, Java, or Go)
- Knowledge in designing, implementing, and operating CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with highly available LDAP systems and administration of PKI systems, databases, and web servers
- Strong problem-solving skills, structured work approach, and independent communication skills in German and English (minimum B2 level)
Responsibilities
- Automate critical IT workflows and operations in TrustCenter environment
- Design, build, and operate highly available Certification Authority systems
- Manage lifecycle of CAs, certificates, and smartcards
- Ensure secure administration and stable operation of complex infrastructures
- Identify and implement automation potentials using DevOps and CI/CD methods
- Provide technological consulting to service managers and architects
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and handle 2nd-level support requests
