DevOps Engineer (CI/CD)

Job summary

The DevOps Engineer (CI/CD) role is essential for supporting a large-scale system in the healthcare domain for the Federal Government. Responsibilities include creating automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Gradle, managing AWS infrastructure with Terraform, and assisting developers with build automation and containerization across multiple Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of direct experience with CI/CD processes and toolchain (Jenkins, Groovy).
• 2+ years of direct experience with RedHat Ansible.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS.
• 2+ years of experience with Linux operations, including scripting (bash, Python).
• Experience with build systems (Gradle) and JVM-based development platforms (Scala).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code via Terraform.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality and accurate work.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines across multiple Linux environments on AWS.
• Support CI/CD toolchain integration, maintenance, change management, and testing.
• Develop policies, standards, guidelines, and governance for CI/CD operations.
• Support developers with source control operations through build automation, merge resolution, test automation, and deployments.
• Configuration management across multiple environments on AWS.
• Support development teams with containerization, infrastructure, and deployments.
