Job summary

The DevOps Engineer builds and operates infrastructure and platform tools for an operations environment, automating CI/CD pipelines and supporting scalable cloud and Kubernetes platforms. Responsibilities include developing scripts and tools, monitoring system and application performance, introducing DevOps practices, and documenting and evaluating technologies across AWS or Azure environments using infrastructure as code, GitOps, and observability tools.

Qualifications

• More than five years of experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines, including container builds, promotions, and quality gates
• More than five years of experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration and platform operations, including EKS or AKS and Helm
• More than five years of experience with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps
• Demonstrated responsibility for automating and operating scalable AWS and/or Azure environments, with two references
• Experience using AI-assisted tools for development or operations, such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Amazon Q
• More than three years of experience with observability and alerting in containerized environments
• More than three years of experience with security and compliance automation, including IAM/RBAC, policy as code, or container security
• More than three years of ITIL service management experience, including incident, problem, and change management and on-call or second- and third-level support
• More than three years of experience with agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban
• Two references demonstrating experience with event-driven architecture or messaging
• More than three years of backend or service development experience for pipeline and platform integration, using Java and Spring Boot or REST and OpenAPI; TypeScript and Angular are optional
