DevOps Engineer - Cloud Native & Kubernetes (m/w/d)

Job summary

The DevOps Engineer role involves designing, implementing, and managing Kubernetes-based platforms for production-critical workloads. Responsibilities include automating infrastructure and deployment processes using DevOps and GitOps principles, managing cloud and on-premise infrastructures, and establishing observability solutions with the Grafana Stack. Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines is essential for ensuring secure software supply chains and platform security.

Qualifications

• Completed training or degree in IT
• Extensive experience in building and operating Kubernetes platforms in production environments
• Solid programming skills (e.g., in Go or Python)
• Ability to apply software engineering concepts to Infrastructure as Code
• Experience in building and operating modern CI/CD pipelines
• Team-oriented and structured working style
• Communication skills in German (at least B2 level) and English

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes-based platforms for production-critical workloads
• Manage and develop cloud and on-premise infrastructures
• Ensure stable, scalable, and secure operation of platforms throughout their lifecycle
• Automate infrastructure, deployments, and operational processes using DevOps and GitOps principles
• Establish and operate comprehensive observability solutions based on the Grafana Stack
• Implement and manage secure software supply chains and platform security
• Apply Infrastructure as Code and automation practices
