DevOps Engineer

Job summary

Corpay is seeking a DevOps Engineer for their Buyatab division in Vancouver, Canada. The role involves collaborating with Agile development teams to build scalable eCommerce solutions and requires expertise in AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Agile software development
• 3–5 years of experience with AWS infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using relevant tools
• Practical experience with Git, Docker, and AWS deployments
• Understanding of networking concepts and server administration
• Experience with scripting languages
• Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools
• Experience with metrics, logging, and monitoring in cloud infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and deploy AWS infrastructure changes
• Collaborate with software development teams to design and support AWS infrastructure
• Design and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for frequent deployments
• Define infrastructure and operational requirements with engineering teams
• Monitor and address infrastructure issues proactively
• Contribute to infrastructure standards and documentation
• Build strong relationships across teams and communicate needs effectively
