DevOps Engineer Data & Analytics (Senior)

Job summary

Contribute to the architecture and development of DevOps and platform services for a Data & Analytics platform, ensuring stability, scalability, and security. Design and automate Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and GitOps solutions, improve observability and operational reliability, and provide technical guidance to DevOps engineers and interdisciplinary teams. The platform supports data and analytics applications and the production of official Swiss labor-market statistics.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional and leadership experience as a DevOps Engineer or Platform Engineer in an enterprise environment.
• Strong experience building and operating container-based platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, GitOps, and modern DevOps tools.
• Experience designing scalable platform architectures.
• Knowledge of automation, observability, security, networking, and operationally critical platforms.
• High autonomy and strong analytical and conceptual skills.

• Define technical architecture and develop DevOps and platform services.
• Design, standardize, and improve the DevOps toolchain and Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and GitOps solutions.
• Automate platform components and operational processes; improve performance and reliability.
