Job summary
The DevOps Engineer (Data) role is responsible for managing and evolving the Snowflake platform and AWS lakehouse, ensuring reliable data orchestration with Apache Airflow. Key responsibilities include managing infrastructure as code with Terraform, implementing security best practices, and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to optimize data processes.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data platform, data engineering, or platform/infrastructure roles in production.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake as a platform, including storage integrations and RBAC.
- Solid experience with Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Apache Airflow or a comparable orchestrator.
- Experience with AWS (S3, IAM) and knowledge of Iceberg tables in a lakehouse context.
- Daily usage of GitHub for version control and CI/CD.
- Fluent in Spanish and English B1 or higher.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the Snowflake platform: warehouses, databases, storage integrations, stages, external tables, shares and network policies.
- Design and maintain the access model: role hierarchies, grants and least-privilege permissions for users and partners.
- Manage the platform as code with Terraform, reviewed in pull requests and deployed through GitHub Actions.
- Operate the AWS lakehouse: ingestion of parquet files and Iceberg tables from S3, plus IAM connections to Snowflake.
- Orchestrate and harden pipelines in Apache Airflow, ensuring reliability and cost efficiency.
- Apply security and governance best practices: authentication, secret management, and clear data ownership.
