Job summary
This DevOps and infrastructure role builds and operates the platforms and tooling needed to deploy user-facing applications and internal services reliably at scale. The work includes managing multi-cloud Kubernetes infrastructure, developing Terraform-based infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines, and improving observability, incident response, and operational practices using tools such as Grafana, Terraform Cloud, and GitHub Actions.

Qualifications
- Typically 3 or more years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Terraform; Docker; Kubernetes; and CI/CD tooling.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
- Experience with automation frameworks and preferably self-service developer tooling such as Backstage.
- Experience collaborating with software engineering teams and adapting infrastructure to developer workflows.
- Programming skills in Python, Bash, Go, or TypeScript, and experience with configuration management tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including explaining technical trade-offs and encouraging adoption of infrastructure standards.
- Proactive, service-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling for multiple engineering teams.
- Manage multi-cloud infrastructure for user-facing applications and internal services using Kubernetes.
- Provision, monitor, and optimise infrastructure for cost, performance, and reliability.
- Build repeatable infrastructure-as-code environments using Terraform and Terraform Cloud.
- Support monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting with Grafana.
- Promote DevOps practices, including automated testing, rollback strategies, and infrastructure hardening.
- Participate in incident response and post-mortems, and improve operational readiness.
