DevOps Engineer

Job summary

Designs, builds, and maintains cloud infrastructure and automation to support reliable deployments, scaling, monitoring, and service availability. The role manages environments across AWS and Oracle Cloud, develops Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and YAML, operates Kubernetes and OpenShift, and maintains CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Tekton. It also addresses connectivity between cloud and on-premises systems and troubleshoots infrastructure and service performance issues.

Qualifications

• Experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, Oracle Cloud, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Tekton.
• Familiarity with Shell, Python, or GoLang.
• Experience with microservice architectures and troubleshooting frontend and backend performance issues.
• Knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud security practices.
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, and GitLab for code management and review.
• Problem-solving skills focused on automation and infrastructure optimization.
• Experience in regulated industries or tuning large-scale, high-traffic systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Tekton.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, YAML, and declarative tools.
• Operate container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Maintain networking and connectivity between cloud services and on-premises systems, including VPNs and firewalls.
• Automate infrastructure deployments, scaling, and monitoring.
• Manage infrastructure across AWS, Oracle Cloud, and similar platforms.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues to maintain uptime and minimize service disruptions.
• Evaluate and integrate technologies to improve operational efficiency and platform stability.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate infrastructure with backend and frontend services.
