DevOps Engineer – Elastic & Observability (m/w/d)

Job summary

DevOps Engineer position focused on building and operating an Elastic-based Observability Platform.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable field with practical experience
• Experience with Elastic Stack at 'Elasticsearch Engineer II' level
• Experience in monitoring and telemetry collection
• Knowledge in programming, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Go, Shell, Ansible, Terraform)
• General IT knowledge, especially in operating software solutions with external cloud providers
• Systematic, goal-oriented, and independent working style
• Very good German language skills (minimum level C1)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Elastic clusters
• Implement and maintain Elastic SIEM
• Develop custom solutions based on project requirements
• Automate integration of external data sources into Elasticsearch
• Automate deployment using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD, or GitLab CI/CD
• Ensure platform quality through test automation collaboration
• Integrate authentication services (LDAP, SAML2, OIDC, Keycloak)
