DevOps Engineer

Job summary

The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with software development, data, and security teams to ensure secure application delivery. This role requires expertise in Azure DevOps and infrastructure automation.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of hands-on DevOps or software engineering experience, preferably with Azure cloud platform
• Advanced proficiency with Azure DevOps and Git
• Practical scripting or programming ability in Bash, PowerShell, Python, C# or similar
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of Azure services and networking
• Familiarity with container image management
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows administration
• Terraform skills for writing reusable modules
• Experience with .NET and Python application deployments
• Understanding of Azure observability stack
• Experience with scanning tools for code and containers
• Knowledge of database principles and SQL
• Knowledge of network fundamentals

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Support application deployments for Windows and Linux environments
• Continuously improve system performance and security posture
• Troubleshoot failed deployments and pipeline executions
• Optimize pipeline performance and reliability
• Participate in incident responses and root-cause analysis
• Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code
• Containerize applications and manage container images
• Manage secrets, certificates, and access control
• Integrate scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with development teams
