DevOps Engineer

Job summary

As a DevOps Engineer in the Platform Team, you will build and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure while utilizing AI code-generation tools. Key responsibilities include implementing infrastructure as code with Terraform, managing services in Kubernetes on Azure, and applying FinOps practices to optimize cloud resource costs.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, deploying and monitoring cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure resources
• Ability to manage services in Kubernetes
• Experience using AI for code generation and automation
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML
• Familiarity with software development practices
• Awareness of cloud security and DevSecOps
• Collaborative communication style

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain secure, scalable, highly available and cost-optimised cloud infrastructure
• Use AI code-generation toolchain and review outputs
• Contribute to prompt libraries as versioned, tested code
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines in Terraform
• Build and manage services in Kubernetes on Azure
• Monitor systems for availability and performance
• Apply FinOps practices to cloud resources
• Collaborate with Security Engineers to integrate security
• Support Agile practices through Scrum and Kanban
