Job summary
This DevOps Engineer supports the integration, validation, configuration, and rollout of software for voice and messaging platforms in fixed and mobile telecommunications networks. The role includes evaluating security scans, coordinating vendor tickets, testing and approving lab releases, and validating changes in live systems as services move toward cloud-native platforms and AI integration.

Qualifications
- Experienced knowledge of Linux.
- Basic IMS knowledge, including SIP and RTP.
- Telecommunications industry experience.
- Experience working in DevOps environments and with automation.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools such as GitLab and test automation.
- Willingness to learn cloud-native and Kubernetes technologies.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties as needed.
- Proactive approach to teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Experience with ticketing systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge or experience with ITIL is an advantage.
- German language understanding is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Integrate, validate, configure, and roll out software in a DevOps team.
- Evaluate security scans and coordinate tickets and security meetings with vendors.
- Perform quality assurance testing and approve software releases in the lab.
- Plan and carry out validation and rollout in live systems.
- Support project-specific activities.
