Job summary

The DevOps Engineer role focuses on managing critical software applications within a collaborative IT team, employing ITIL processes throughout the application lifecycle. Responsibilities include stakeholder coordination, automation, infrastructure provisioning, and utilizing technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Azure for deployment and monitoring.

Qualifications

• professional experience in a comparable role or in a manufacturing company producing complex products
• good knowledge of container technologies
• experience in software development environments and their methods
• extensive expertise in monitoring, logging, alerting
• experience with SAP ERP is advantageous
• knowledge of the software development lifecycle
• ideally familiarity with monitoring and automation of systems, processes, and workflows
• very good German and English skills
