Job summary

As a DevOps Engineer at Sysmex Europe SE, you will take ownership of the cloud platform layer within a biomedical software ecosystem, ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cloud engineering expertise with ownership mindset
• Strong understanding of regulated environments
• Drive to build scalable and compliant systems
• Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of regulatory compliance such as GxP and GDPR
• Experience supporting audits with traceable evidence
• Good understanding of software engineering principles
• Knowledge of cost optimization and scalable operations
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Design and operate compliant cloud infrastructure and shared platform services
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for reproducible environments
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and security scanning
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery through resilient architectures
• Translate regulatory requirements into technical controls and documentation
• Own the cloud platform lifecycle and improve scalability and cost efficiency
• Design cloud-native and hybrid platform architectures
• Communicate cloud architecture concepts to stakeholders
