Job summary
The DevOps Engineer role focuses on the continuous development and management of the Overheid.nl portal, ensuring reliable access to government information. Key responsibilities include managing container objects using Docker and Kubernetes, improving application performance, and collaborating with stakeholders and developers to enhance functionalities like personalization and geo-search.
Qualifications
- Experience managing container objects
- Knowledge of Git, bash/shell scripts, YAML, CI/CD
- Experience with OTAP processes
- Knowledge and experience with monitoring and logging
- Knowledge of PHP, especially Object-Oriented Programming
- Minimum 5 years experience as a DevOps engineer focusing on container management
- Proven experience with high exposure and high availability applications
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop Overheid.nl
- Collaborate with stakeholders, front-end developers, and UX designers
- Ensure operational and high availability of the application
- Improve application performance
- Set up monitoring
